Anti Ragging Disclaimer

To root out ragging in all its forms from medical colleges/institutions in the country by prohibiting it by law, preventing its occurrence by following the provisions of these Regulations and punishing those who indulge in ragging as provided for in these Regulations and the appropriate law in force.

Depending upon the nature and gravity of the offence as established by the Anti-Ragging Committee of the institution, the possible punishments for those found guilty of ragging at the institution level shall be any one or any combination of the following:

  • Suspension from attending classes and academic privileges.
  • Withholding/withdrawing scholarship/ fellowship and other benefits.
  • Debarring from appearing in any test/ examination or other evaluation Process.
  • Withholding result.s
  • Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national or international meet, tournament, youth festival, etc.
  • Suspension/ expulsion from the hostel.
  • Cancellation of admission.
  • Rustication from the institution for period ranging from 1 to 4 semesters.
  • Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution for a specific period.
  • Fine of Rs. 25,000/- and Rs. 1 lakh.
  • Collective punishment: When the persons committing or abetting the crime of ragging are not identified, the institution shall resort to collective punishment.

 

Rules and Regulations

All students of the institute will be governed by rules and Regulation of institute as laid down from time to time.

  • Students shall behave in an orderly, disciplined & Decent manner in the institute campus and public places.
  • Each student shall obtain an identity card and must display on person.
  • Student shall wear specified uniform & I-cards on all the days.
  • Smoking, chewing tobacco etc. is strictly prohibited in institute and hostel.
  • Use of mobile phone is not permitted in institute campus.
  • It will be the responsibility of the student to read noticesdisplayed on notice board.
  • Student shall pay for repair / replacement of institute property if damaged due to his / her negligence.
  • Any student found indulging in any anti social / anti-national or illegal activity will be expelled from the institute.
  • Ragging in the hostel is strictly prohibited. Offenders will be rusticated and action will be taken as per law.
  • In any matter pertaining to student and institute the decision of management shall be binding on parents & students.
  • Management reserves the right to change/amend rules from time to time.
  • Any change in address, telephone number etc. shall be immediately intimated to institute in writing.
  • Regular attendance of class is must for every students. If any students fails to maintain 80 % attendance he/she will not be. allowed to appear for the semester exam / DGCA exam.
  • If any students violates or tries to violate rules and regulations of the institute a severe disciplinary action will be taken against the student.
  • All fees must be paid by the due date mentioned in prospectus and as intimated through notices.

 

Refund Policy

  • Admission fee paid is non refundable.
  • 50% of the tuition fees will be refunded if admission is cancelled before 10 days of commencement of semester.
  • After start of course no fees will be refunded.
  • Any student leaving the institute midway shall pay his/her entire fees for whole academic year.
  • If the student leaves the hostel before completion of two semester he shall pay fee for two semester.
  • Each student and his/her parents or guardian must sign the affidavit duly attested by notary.
